Together for a Better Future
Challenge
In an industry undergoing significant change and transition, Lakeland Dairies—a farmer-owned global co-operative with a 130-year legacy—was continuing to grow and adapt. With increased internationalisation and a renewed strategy, the organisation needed to ensure that its people—across all locations and functions—were aligned and inspired by a common set of values. The challenge was to develop and embed these values in a way that felt authentic, actionable and lived day to day—not just words on a wall.

Solution
After supporting Lakeland Dairies in defining themes for their sustainable and strategic goals, we designed and facilitated a values-led engagement programme from the ground up. We began by developing a process that was participative and inclusive—interviewing leaders, listening to personal stories, and identifying the qualities that make Lakeland Dairies distinctive. These insights shaped the foundation of “Together for a Better Future. Our Values, Our Way.”
We then designed a full engagement strategy and facilitated every stage of the programme. This included the creation of ‘The Lakeland Story’ video, scripting and storyboarding from first principles, and leading senior-level workshops to align the CLT and SLT on messaging and behaviours. We created and facilitated Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions to cascade the programme across the entire organisation. Every element—from content to collateral to facilitation—was carefully crafted to empower leaders and connect people to purpose.

We brought clarity, structure and momentum to a significant cultural initiative. Our role went beyond creative execution—we acted as strategic facilitators, trusted partners and cultural catalysts. The result was a unified, organisation-wide programme that empowered Lakeland Dairies’ leaders to champion their values and embed them meaningfully in everyday decisions, behaviours and culture.
