Headquartered in Ireland with operations across the globe, Openet enables the world’s most innovative telecom operators manage and monetise their business. In the company’s biggest transformation since its inception 20 years ago, we focused on redefining who Openet are and what they stand for.
Significant evolution over 20 years combined with continued growth meant that the current brand no longer reflected Openet’s organisational culture, values or their flexible, agile yet resilient personality.
Openet work with 7 of the top 10 mobile network operators in the world, and their software manages over 800 million mobile users.
The first challenge was to develop the brand strategy and identity to reflect the scale, ambition and agility synonymous with the business today.
More importantly, the new brand needed to be future proofed underpinning Openet’s growth strategy and reflecting how the business anticipates, adapts and responds to an ever changing industry.
Through a process of research, workshops and stakeholder interviews we revealed a truth; that in an industry where change is the only constant, Openet’s open and innovative technology is Built For Change. Built For Change reflects the adaptive, flexible nature of the business while underpinning Openet’s commitment to looking beyond pipeline and reimagining next generation technology.
We brought the positioning to life through an identity system flexible enough to house hero products and a dynamic messaging system. The graphic patterns were inspired by data and the technical precision central to Openet’s success. The energised brand language and colour palette reflects a business that is adaptive yet resilient. A business that will continue to unlock opportunity for customers in this ever changing world.
RichardsDee built a brand for Openet that has elevated our standing in the market. The brand idea demonstrates who we really are and what we stand for. This has given the company more pride and self-belief. RichardsDee deliver results and are a pleasure to work with.
